After completing her medical degree at Monash University, Suzanne undertook her Anaesthetic training through the Royal Melbourne Hospital.  As part of her training she also spent time at the University of Alberta (Canada) and Monash Health.  Since completing her training Suzanne has done further study in Peri-operative Medicine and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching through the University of Melbourne.

 

Suzanne currently works as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Eastern Health as well as in private at St John of God, Ballarat.  She also holds an appointment at Monash Health where she helps facilitate workshops in difficult airway management and surgical airway techniques to Anaesthetists and Critical Care consultants.

 

Her regular work includes anaesthesia for orthopaedic, general, plastic and gynaecological surgery, and pain and endoscopic procedures.

 

Suzanne is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists.

 

When not at work, Suzanne enjoys running, camping and spending time with her 3 children.
